Hydromat Double Sided Self-adhesive Butyl Internal Corner

A Hydromat internal corner, part of the Hydromat self-adhesive butyl tanking system for wet rooms as supplied with the complete Hydromat tanking 5 and 10m² kits.

Designed for use on the internal corner junction between the floor and walls. Use in conjunction with Hydromat Tanking Membrane and Jointing Tape to create a permanently flexible and waterproof junction.

Once installed it can be tiled over immediately, drastically speeding up the speed of installation.

Installation guidance:

• Check the substrate is sound, free of contaminants and remove any loose material
• Make sure there are no significant irregularities, any gaps should be filled
• Surfaces should be primed (order separately) and allowed to dry
• Roller over all areas for maximum adhesion, before removing the top film
• Seal all edges and junctions with Butyl sealant (order separately)

Warranty:

• When installed correctly by a competent person and used for normal Wetroom applications this tanking system has a life-of-tiling guarantee with the manufacturer (if grout lines are maintained)
